Khenpo Sherab Sangpo, a professor of Tibetan Buddhism in the Nyingma Lineage (bodhicittasangha.org), offers teachings on how to relax and rest in the nature of mind. During this session, Khen Rinpoche offers practical advice on how to establish a daily meditation practice.

He advises that meditation is the key to helping us have a meaningful life and to develop our positive human qualities. As he says in his teaching: “Human capacity is actually limitless…if you practice.”
He states that genuine happiness comes from training the mind so that it is free from being controlled by negative emotions (ego-mind). To do this we need to practice renunciation (contentment), bodhicitta (kind mind), and wisdom (realising the nature of all phenomena).
The teaching ends with a guided meditation called “Breathe Practice in 3 Stages” and a recitation of the “The Prayer of Samantabhadra: The Aspiration of the Primordial Buddha.”
