‘When we say that there is no self, people get worried, or angry. Their attachment and identification to this idea of a self is so strong.’

On the net, of course, it’s morning, afternoon, evening, or nighttime 😀 somewhere.

I don’t get “worried or angry”. I just find it hard to understand the concept despite reading numerous books. Maybe I’m not clever enough to be a Buddhist!😣
😀 Buddhism hasn’t anything to do with being clever Christo.
Not self is so often presented as a nihilistic condition instead of an insight into awakening — Buddha.
Awareness is the key to all of the Buddha’s teachings.

I read the book and enjoyed it but now feel a little disillusioned.
Haven’t read it Christo.
